| Aidan joined Whitehall in 2005. He joined basically as a back up player, and well, he's still just the back up player. His jabbering at square leg can drive even the most enthusiastic square leg umpires to sleep. So if you get sent out to do a spell at square leg having some sort of ear plugs. Aidan best fielding position is down at 12th man. However ever time a catch goes near him the look over fear and anxiousness can be seen in his eyes. Aidan's best moment game towards the end of the 2005 season when we visited Wibsey Park Chapel. The before he'd scored his first runs of the season, and managed to get up to 12, before Harry Potter somehow plucked the ball from 30 yards beyond the boundary and claimed a very dubious catch. So going into the game with Wibsey, it was decided we would reverse the batting order, and Aidan top edged his way to the funniest 74no I will ever have the privilege of witnessing.
