| Bondy, the poshest member of the Whitehall squad. Has only sworn once in his life away at Farsley in late August. Dave started playing for Whitehall back in 2003, but missed the whole of the 2004 season before making his 1st team debut in 2005, his first game being against Meanwood away from home on 21st May 2005. Dave is a quality fielder, being part of the formidable off side defense when he plays. Unfortunately the problem is we don't see enough of Dave for various reason, this season was blighted by a broken arm after Richard Francis bowled him a wicked delivery in training and then during the middle part of the season he disappeared to Canada reducing his season to only a handful of appearances. Dave was the only bowler in 2006 to bowl a spell without conceding a run (admittedly there was only one over in the spell) but Dave's unorthadox bowling style has accounted for many a batsman (all but one in training). Dave works with Bob in the uni, and is currently the undisputed Whitehall stick cricket champions. (See the message board.) |
