| Duncan, Duncan, Duncan. I'm sat here wondering how and what to write about Duncan. He's a Whitehall institution. He's got the biggest cricket bag ever made, he's got more kit than anybody could possibly need. 9 bats in various stages of dilapidation, 58 caps of various designs and different logos, its rumoured he carries his beloved skis in there two. I think I've even heard a cry from a small Filipino boy on many occasion. Watching Dunc delve into his bag is like watching Mary Poppins pull out all her pariphialia. Duncan has many a tale to tell, his six at Arthington when we were playing Hawksworth is probably his favourite, although the time he got a five against Baildon is probably a close second. Duncan is an important part of the team make up, if anyone knows why please feel free to let me know. His best fielding position is slip, and when he takes a catch its usually spectacular (he's either juggled it for 10 minutes or fallen over after he's caught it.). Would you believe Duncan has only been out once in the last 3 seasons? I think this stat proves beyond doubt, that stats can prove anything if you want them to.
