Ian Cox Coxy Mr Cox Captain Pugwash. Born Just after Queen Victoria.

Coxy, a Whitehall legend. Ian has won the
Whitehall clubman of the year award as many
times as anyone else.

One of the longest serving members of the club.
Ian missed all of the 2006 season after going on
the Clipper round the world boat race. More about
the race can be found here. His boat Qingdao
finished in 8th place out of 10.

Ian is one of the many integral members of the
club, without his contribution the club would most
likely not be in around today.

Coxy is the uncle of Whitehall allrounder and king
ego Paul Dockerty.

Ian never misses a Whitehall social event, and is
one of the most popular members of the club.

52 year old Cox, bowls left arm pies, and should
bowl more than he does, the ball tends to spin
more on the 3rd or 4th bounce and thats the one
that catches you out.

Ian was involved in one of the most comical run
outs ever (and with Aidan Dunne in your side thats
an achievement), playing Halifax Direct in the cup
at Bedquilts in 2004. Ian was batting with his
nephew when the took a quick single, Paul
scampered through to make it fairly simply,
however Ian wandered the 22 yards swinging his
bat like Charlie Chaplin to be run out by a few
inches.
