| Richard Francis is a true legend. Words cannot describe the mans ability. His fielding prowess is second to non, his batting sends bowlers knees to jelly, and his bowling, well thats pretty poor to be honest. But apart from he's one of the club favourites. However he spent the 2006 season pretending to be a girl. After the international call up of Matthew Hullah, Dicky started the season as the player with the longest hair in the club, however little we were to learn that this was just the beginning of the feminine side of Mr or should I say Miss Francis. After what can only be described as a moment Richard decided to retire from cricket, an incredible girly thing to do. But thankfully June sat in front of the TV watching England fail so miserably again in the world cup so Richard rediscover his manly side. Richard returned to the side and helped halt the sides alarming drop in form as they beat Cookridge. His effort in field has won him (wrongly) many fielding points. Never allowed to come out for a pint after a game, however even with all his downsides he's a popular member of our side, and we all love him. (well sort of) |
